Upon entering Park West, you’re greeted by a beautifully appointed fountain and a traffic circle for ease of access. What you might not immediately realize, but which becomes obvious as you get deeper into the community, is that Park West is huge. It sits on 1,700 acres and comprises thousands of residences divided into nearly 30 different subsections. And it continues to grow. Also within the confines of the community are numerous amenities. Conveniences located inside the neighborhood include public schools, doctors, dentists, veterinarians, legal offices, groceries, restaurants, parks, six miles of trails, child care facilities and the neighborhood amenity center with swimming pools, tennis courts, playgrounds and a clubhouse. Also within the neighborhood is the 59-acre Town of Mt. Pleasant recreation complex with ballparks, a track, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a dog park. And more shops are slated to appear with the completion of Cambridge Square, the neighborhood’s “town village.” Perfect for families, young health-minded professionals and empty-nesters, the Park West community, with its expansive network of wide sidewalks, encourages its residents to walk and bike to their destinations.
