Waterway Arms is a townhome community located on the edge of Old Village in Mount Pleasant. The two or three bedroom townhomes are approximately 986 to 1276 square feet. They are in close proximity to the acclaimed Mount Pleasant elementary school. To tour WATERWAY ARMS, please contact us at bob@charlestonproperty.net.
All right, so we’re heading from WATERWAY ARMS over into SALTGRASS POINTE. And SALTGRASS POINTE is a neighborhood that was built in the early to mid, even houses still being built back here, in 2000’s. These are all custom built homes and SALTGRASS POINTE is probably dollar for square foot, is almost as expensive as being in OLD VILLAGE. It’s right off of Coleman Blvd, so you have the advantage of living in this area without having to drive all the way back into old Mt. Pleasant. Old Mt. Pleasant off of Coleman Blvd, in spots, can be a pretty long drive. But this overlooks the back side of Sullivan’s Island and I don’t think the way these houses are set up, we’re probably going to get much of a view here. But through the trees over to our right is the back side of Sullivan’s and Simmons Point. So this neighborhood, again, close to Coleman Blvd. House prices range probably I would say, the medium house price is probably $800K. We’re not talking about an inexpensive buy in, but most of these houses back here 2,400 to 3,600 square feet; bigger houses that what you’re going to find directly across the street in Old Mt. Pleasant. A neighborhood that I’ve recently had a house under contract. We closed on it and they’re in the process of building it. Woods Custom Homes is the builder and he’s a pretty good guy. He actually lives back in this neighborhood and I think him and his father-in-law bought a bunch of lots during the down turn and are building spec houses. So anyway, you know, great spot if you want to be in Old Mt. Pleasant without being as far back as you would have to go. From here we’re going to go to look at two town home areas, SIMMONS POINTE and SAWYER’S LANDING.
