Heading out of FOXMOOR, we’re entering another subsection of PARK WEST called WELLESLEY PLACE. These homes were built by D R Horton. He builds a lot in Charleston and around here in PARK WEST over the last several years, and I think D R Horton has done a solid job of building homes. I’ve sold a lot of their houses and for the most part, people have been pretty happy. These houses were built in the early 2000’s and a lot of folks would consider these as starter homes, but these are in the $350K range, so I don’t know if you could consider they are starter homes at this price point. They were classically marketed as starter homes when they were first built in PARK WEST. WELLESLEY is located very close to the entrance of PARK WEST, so getting in and out of here is a little more easier than it would be if you lived in the back of PARK WEST. A lot of vinyl siding….there may be one or two of these with brick fronts and maybe stucco, but with most of these, you’re looking at vinyl siding. They all have 35 year architectural shingles, so you’re not buying something that you would immediately have to do work to. A lot of the kitchens are somewhat dated and the ones that have been updated are going to be a little bit higher on the price point. I think its a nice neighborhood. I have sold houses back here and people have been very happy with WELLESLEY PLACE in PARK WEST.
