We’re heading out of the 55+ community, SOMERBY and LIBERTY COTTAGES, and going right across to MARSH WALK. MARSH WALK was built by three developers. The largest builder is Lennar, a national developer who has built a lot around Charleston. Also Palmetto Traditional Homes and Rex Thompson Homes are the two others who are ‘mom and pop’ local builders. Some of the homes have vinyl siding, but a lot are hardi-plank; some brick. As you see on the right, some are raised construction. These would be considered ‘semi’ custom homes. I would say….the ones I’ve been in….don’t know if I would label them ‘semi’ custom, but they do have more upgrades than some of the neighborhoods we’ve toured this far in PARK WEST. Upgrades you would find here that may be absent in other neighborhoods, would be granite and wood floors, would be standard at MARSH WALK, here inside of PARK WEST.
