Cassina Heights subdivision is centrally located off of Rifle Range Road and is a a short drive to Towne Centre, a mecca for shopping and dining, and the beaches of Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island. There are a total of 56 homes which were built sporadically from the 50’s through 1999 and homes reside on larger lots.
Next to CASSINA PLANTATION is CASSINA HEIGHTS. CASSINA HEIGHTS is very similar to CASSINA PLANTATION, but it has some newer homes back here. And some of the lots are not quite as big and this backs up fully to the Intracoastal Waterway. Over to our left is Mamie Whitesides School, a brand new school, built maybe 3 years ago. A lot of the kids that live back here ride their bike or walk to school. Many of you who’ve watched other videos that I’ve shot, Holly and Michael Bronco, good friends of mine live back here. They really like this neighborhood. We considered buying back here, but it’s just, the flood insurance, honestly,…the Bronco’s house is in a deep flood zone. So, it kind of deterred me from buying back here then. You can see the very back of CASSINA HEIGHTS is a neighborhood called DAYBREAK, and DAYBREAK is where you will find new construction. These houses here pretty much built all within the last ten years or so and some are being built right now. But great vistas off the back of these homes to the Isle of Palms. Primo location. You can be pretty much anywhere in Mt. Pleasant in this neighborhood in 5 to 7 minutes and you can be downtown in about 10 minutes; downtown Charleston, that is. But, I really like this neighborhood. I really like this location. If you’re wanting, again, loose home owners association rules, this is a good place to consider. And keep in mind these older houses and the ones we’re looking at right now, the ride through DAYBREAK are brand new. They’re built well out of the flood plain, but some of the houses in the front of the neighborhood are in flood zones that you, at least, want to have some sort of idea going into when considering looking at any of these houses.as that as a backdrop.
