And so we’re heading out of Quail Hollow and going down to Crown Pointe. Crown Pointe is right off of Rifle Range Road. Its the second neighborhood on your left before you reach the Isle of Palms Connector if you’re heading south on Rifle Range. And we’re going to pull back in here to Crown Pointe. Neighborhood of about 75 to probably 80 houses I would guess. Some of the homes back up to lakes and lagoons that tie into Ravens Run. Raven’s Run was more or less right next door to Crown Pointe. Home sizes range from 1,800 to almost 3,000 square feet. You see a few more two story homes back here than some of the other neighborhoods; the West Pointe’s and Quail Hollow’s that we rode through just a few minutes ago. Some have brick fronts, but most have vinyl siding. These were built by various builders over the years, so some of them were built by production builders like Centex and some were built by Mom and Pop builders that built back here when these homes were built from 1987-1992, the main time that Crown Pointe was developed. Again, super close to downtown Charleston, about 6 miles and you’re about 4 miles from the beach on the Isle of Palms. A great neighborhood if you want to be in central Mt. Pleasant. Again the finish level on these houses is going to be in keeping with most cases with what you would expect to find in a house that was built in the late ’80’s, early ’90’s. Some of these houses have been redone on the inside. Then again, I like this neighborhood as far as location to the beaches and location to downtown Charleston.
